AOHEDS(Beijing) will invite Michael Lane(Head of Engineering of MCS Kenny) to carry out a“Flexcom Training” in Nov.2nd 2015. Flexcom is a premium structural analysis software package which has underpinned the engineering design on some of the world’s most demanding offshore projects. Developed by MCS Kenny’s software solution specialists, the program is designed and maintained by engineers who are immersed in the offshore oil and gas industry. Flexcom combines state-of-the-art analytical capabilities with an easy-to-use Graphical User Interface for optimum productivity. A wealth of practical modelling features means that almost any offshore system can be simulated. The program uses an industry-proven finite element formulation, incorporating a 3D hybrid beam-column element with fully coupled axial, bending and torque forces, for reliable and accurate modelling of slender offshore structures.
